Candle Studio began from a moment of change and resilience.

After the pandemic, Brandon found himself unable to return to full-time work due to his journey with kidney disease and dialysis. But where one path closed, another opened, leading him to a new chapter that felt unexpectedly perfect.

A lifelong lover of scent, Brandon found joy in collecting colognes and savoring sensory moments. Though he never imagined starting a candle business, sharing his passion for fragrance has become a natural and meaningful extension of who he is.

Chantal, his partner, has been instrumental in shaping Candle Studio, helping guide the creative vision, marketing, and product development. Together, they’ve built a brand that is for everyone, uplifting, and filled with heart.

From the very beginning, Brandon has grown Candle Studio by meeting customers face-to-face at markets across Cape Town and surrounds, sharing his love for scent and building personal connections.
